General Overview		Like so many pilots in the beginning of his career, Hunt was somewhat arrogant when it comes to his abilities. But overtime, has matured and arrogance is no longer an issue.

Personal History		Growing up on Earth, Marques has always felt that he has had to live up to the expectations of his father. Considered a Starfleet brat like so many other kids who's parents served in Starfleet, Hunt often times was left with his mother Kimberly Anderson who had her own career on Earth. While his father was off traveling throughout the galaxy. It was rare that Malcom Hunt was at a location close enough to his wife and two son's. Marques knew that a life of Starfleet was for him long before even starting grade school. At an early age, he displayed an interest in helm as he learned where all the major controls were on a starship. During highschool, the young man quite the reputation for being an outstanding athlete. After graduating highschool, Marques was accepted into Starfleet Academy where he excelled in the helm/navigation field. Due to his father being a Captain at this point, Hunt's time in the Academy was made a little more difficult for him than most. This was caused by some resentment that some of the instructors had towards his father and also his father telling people not to make it easy on him at all. In 2384, Cadet Hunt was informed that his cousin John Flessner was killed aboard the USS Grissom with all hands on the board. After four years of school, Marques was assigned to the USS Houston as a helm officer. During the time, Ensign Hunt took the opportunity to upgrade his own worth by taking several combat piloting classes. The Miranda class vessel was assigned to the Klingon and spent much time in conflict battling the Klingons. Over the next five years, Marques would be promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade and would eventually move up to Assistant Chief Flight Control Officer. In 2390, he was promoted to Lieutenant and accepted the position of Chief Flight Control Officer on the USS Jenkins a Constellation Class vessel. During this time, Marques had grown to have a deep hatred for the Klingons. Due to his own families history with the Klingons, combined with his own. The Klingons were a constant naissance, that he felt the Federation should push forward and finally dealing with them in a serious way. When the moon of Praxis encountered an explosion at one of their facilities. The Lieutenant believed that Starfleet was foolish for wanting to mount a rescue for survivors. The Jenkins was placed on standby when rescue efforts took place and even when talks of peace treaty was in place. After the Khitomer Accords was signed, Marques Hunt realized that his dealings with the Klingons caused him much undo stress. The ships counselor even suggested that perhaps he take on another assignment elsewhere. Agreeing to this assessment, Marques requested an assignment at Starfleet Academy as an Instructor teaching Helm Department. Over the last two years, Lieutenant has trained the newest pilots passing through the Academy. As much as he has enjoyed his time working with Cadets, Marques is now ready to return to space duty. When an opening for Chief Flight Control Officer came open, Hunt put in for the assignment and was accepted.
